56 CM Frame . very fast/light/. will need to be tuned . been sitting.

Dura-ace components hubs, brakes, shifters/including derailleurs, head set, crank arms, and saddle, post. Biopace chain rings.

tubular tires?sew ups.

In the mid 1970s, David Tesch began his career with start up Trek Bicycle Company in Wisconsin. He soon went on to work with Masi in Carlsbad, CA. By the early 1980s he developed his own identity as a frame builder. Dave's reputation was that of making bikes that were no-holds-barred racing machines with virtual track bike geometry. Owners state that Tesch bikes are a blast to ride!
As happens so often in the handmade bicycle craft, business difficulties pushed him out of the craft in the 1990s.

You are so correct about this bike but I can't help but feel he's withholding my bottle of white Zinfandel somehow...

1990 Trek 330 Blue Road Bike in Great Condition.
I think this bike is either 54 or 56cm. I am 5'11" and it is a good size for me.
Here's some information on Specs on this bike.
https://www.vintage-trek.com/TrekBrochure1990.htm#330
Note that this model often sells for $200-250. I am asking only $150.
Please contact me via email if interested and I will reply back. Please no scams!
Thanks.

I'm a 78 year old retiring Schwinn biking enthusiast who is finally hanging up the saddle. I had this bike custom made for touring in October 1972 with top of the line parts. It offers an outstanding ride, has never been in a wreck, and has been treated with tender loving care. The bike is in top condition with the following list of parts . . .

-Specialized touring tires - 27in x 1 1/4in @ 95 psi
-French, Super Champion competition rims with stainless steel spokes
-Phil Wood sealed hubs
-Campagnolo skewers, side pull brakes, pedals, strada 180 cranks, 52 teeth and 42 teeth chain ring, Nuovo record derailers, seat posts, top and bottom brackets.
-Regina SC Chain
-Blackburn magnesium rear rack
-Brooks leather sprung saddle
-Cinelli handlebar stem
-Mod Gino Ditalia handlebars

Email Gary with questions.

Merckx 7/11 Corsa

53cm on the Bay. It is a Corsa, not a Corsa Extra. Shimano 600 indexed. If it were an Extra or a true Team, I would snap it up.

EDIT: Price went up to $1099 from $999 BIN overnight.

Nice history, and appears to be in excellent shape (SCHWINN PROLOGUE TIRES TOO!!!). Always thought the Prologue's were frame only.
$765 - 1987 Schwinn Prologue - Chicago CL
Selling my much loved Schwinn Prologue. Tubing is the very nice Tange Prestige. It has full Shimano Santé components (brakes, brake levers, derailleurs, crankset, hubs), original bar tape and Shimano hoods, original matching water bottle cages, Selle San Marco Rolls saddle, Tange Falcon headset, Wolber TX Profil wheels, original Schwinn Prologue tires (mint condition, very rare), Cinelli bars, Cinelli stem. The pedals on currently are Shimano 105 with Christophe straps, but the original matching Shimano SPD pedals are included.

The bike is an '87 model, which wasn't available in the Schwinn catalog that year, but the Prologue was the first step down from the Paramount. The original owner was a guy who worked for Schwinn in the Research and Development department (I'm the second owner). According to him this is one of about 30 that the factory put together complete. Quite rare to find one with this build.

Did you catch that serial number stamped on the lower head tube lug? This is a Panasonic made frame. Given that this frame is made of Tange Prestige tubes, I would say it is at least as good and (IMHO) better than the Paramount frame. This coming from a died in the wool Paramount fanatic. Very nice bike and group set.

John

My 1978 Schwinn Volare, complete Shimano Dura Ace (first generation), on ebay now. The previous owner never took care of it and it's been hanging on my "project" rack for a long while now, with barely a couple of hundred miles on my end, though it got quite a bit of use from the previous owner. The finish has serious issues as you can see in the pictures. Would be a great addition to somebody else's 'project' rack or it'd be a sweet commuter bike. ebay item 270660825715 in case you're interested.

Its an Elgin girls bike from about 1934 and it is complete but needs restoration or you can ride it now. It has a special chain guard and rear fender to keep the girls skirt from being caught in the chain or the rear spokes. the rear fender has slots which can be laced with string to keep the skirt away from the spokes. It has good white sidewall tires and tubes that hold air. Price is $125. Call Tony at 425-787-0671 or email to leemll@aol.com

Centurion Road Bike 26 inch frame, made in Japan. I'm 6'2" and it fits me well. Has Suntour components. Just got a new chain put on it and had it tuned up at Gregs Cycles, so it is ready to ride. Has quick release wheels on the front and back. Everything works well. Have a Sigma computer that I can throw in for the deal. Please leave a name and number so I can contact you.
