Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This has quickly become one of my favorite frames, especially in white. Looking forward to the build up.

What year is that frame? Looks damn nice, but not a 2012 for sure.

Drooling.

Wow, nice. Love the relatively straight top tube - make it looks super clean.

Thanks, no RideSense..Dont like how it protrudes anyway...not integrated like Trek. The 1 in the box is a 2011 Giant TCR Advanced 1, which has a really tiny crack on the downtube. Recieved the the warranty frame on Tuesday and already built up. This one is being sold.

Killer setup. make sure to use a nice sealant to keep that white paint white! I recommend Optimum Opti-coat 2.0

Basically but it's a synthetic bonded sealant (wax is natural). Opti-coat is a permanent sealent for paint that is harder than almost all clear coats. Application needs to be on new or recently corrected paint. I have it on my car and will never have to wax it again. These types of sealants have really changed the automotive detailing industry. Look at some of the high end detailing forums with a lot of great reviews. Some test cars are going on 3 years with no degredation of protection.

CQuartz by carpro is another similar product but is a little cheaper and lasts about 2 years. On a bike it will most likely last longer as it's not sitting out in the sun/rain like a car.

Eh, I don't know about applying additional clearcoat to it. The bike is already clearcoated.

It's extremely thin layer. Protects the oem paint. Although this is overkill for a bike I just have the stuff already from auto detailing. Unlike clearcoat it prevents stuff like acid etching bird bombs etc. The coating is hyrophobic so dirt and grime won't stick to the coating. Qucik rinse or wipe and it's clean. Waxes don't even bond well so a lot of the manufacturers don't recommend wasting money using their own waxes on top of these coatings.

Don't want to take the thread more off topic
