650c 1" threadless Indy Fab steel fork - value?
Wondering about the value of a 650c 1" steel threadless Indy Fab fork. Frame & fork built in 2003.
When I bought the steel Crown Jewel of the same color in 2009, a Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon fork was installed. I liked the Ouzo so much I didn't bother installing the steel fork, so this was effectively a spare.
I've done ebay searches on sold items and came up blank. Virtually all 650c threadless 1" forks are carbon. I haven't found one in steel.

That is obviously a high quality fork, but the market for it is going to be extremely limited. I’d probably list on eBay for a pretty high Buy it Now price, accepting offers, and wait…
As far as pricing, I’d see what options are available off the shelf, and use that as a gauge to what potential buyers might be willing to pay.

I am just curious what kind of bike it was attached to? What happened to the bike?

Thank you both. I still have the Crown Jewel it came with. Up until now, I've never thought of doing much with the steel fork, as I don't use it. Someone else's need might be greater than my own.

If you ever plan to sell the matching Crown Jewel I would hold onto the steel fork. It could be worth more to the new buyer than anyone else. Some buyers are deterred by frames with a fork that could be a replacement.

Seagrade, I thought of that. Recently I put the CJ up for sale with both forks.
Zero added interest, people didn't seem to care whether the steel fork was included or not.
Now whether this is due to the general downturn in the road bike with rim brake market, can't say.
I know I'd be interested if someone listed a bike with two forks for sale. It's just something you don't see that often.
