Rob Stowe Phase 3
Picked this bike up for a steal last weekend. Rob Stowe was, from what I can gather online, a small custom builder in Rochester, NY, through the 90's. Frame tubes are most likely Tange Prestige, based on what others have mentioned about other frames. This frame is built up with a real mish-mash of nice parts, aside from the tape and extra clamp-on bars, and then sat in a barn for 25 years. One little ding in the NDS chain stay and a touch of rust in a couple of places. Otherwise a very nice and interesting fillet-brazed frame.

Very cool bike. The fork crown is interesting, looks very skinny in the tops of the shoulders. Not seen one quite like it that I can think of.
Or are the camera angles playing tricks on me?
