How much for 2009 Rockhopper Expert 29er

19"
disc brakes
29" wheels
puchased 1 year ago for $1250 new

It has under 60 miles on it and has been taken off road for less than a mile.

I don't have time to go off road and with twins on the way, I'm not sure I will for quite a while.
I'm looking to replace this with something more like a Sirrus and I'm wondering how much I should try to get out of it if I sell it or trade it in

Where do you live buddy? If you're Canadian or live close to Niagara/Buffalo region I might be interested.

No, I'm in the midwest (not much for mountains around here). I have a few people on craigslist that are interested, I am just not exactly sure what a reasonable price is that is fair for both parties.

is $900 too much?

900 would be a little pricey here (ATL) area for an 09. New 2010 are going for MSRP which is 990 which would include the warranty (important for some) and usually a couple of tuneups from the dealer.

7fiddy. Usually half price or so but since it's so new you may get a little more. The used bike market ain't to pretty right now. Used anything for that matter. Why not hang on to it? The depreciation slows down quick and that's a nice all-arounder.
