help in lookng for a new bike
Hoping for help here. For the past few years, I've had a Timberlne GT FS. I ride about 40-50 miles on the weekend, mainly city-street lanes. Nothing steep. Still, I would like a something a little faster. I'm looking to sell the GT and possibly spend a few huundred extra to get another bike. I also have a Paramount Oversized Series Pog and a Schwinn Le Tour, both in good shape. Are these bikes worth enough that I can get a decdent amount for all three or am I wasting my time? If so, any recommendations as to what to look for in a used bike or even a new one?

Look for a bike which fits .... and works.
As for the old bikes ... it depends on the market in your area, the condition of the bikes, .... but usually used bikes don't sell for much. Depends who you know.
Are there any good bike shops in your area? Have you visited several bike manufacturer websites to see what is on offer.

If you went to a few manufacturer's sites---Trek, Giant, Specialized for instance .... which bikes there look sort of like what you want?

Selling your bikes will depend on you being able to find the few people in the world that are looking for that bike and also willing to pay the amount it takes to liberate them from you.
How good at doing that do you think you'll be?
Welcome to BF.
