Ribble cycles no longer selling to US?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Star Trek No Longer To Exist Anywhere Because Lucas/Disney Know It's Better?

Anybody use Ribble Cycles?

I've bought from them in the past, but for the last several days, when I've gone over there to use their 10% off coupon, I can't seem to get their website to load with prices for american currency the way it always used to. Anybody know if they've changed something? Or maybe there's just some problem with my computers (I've tried a couple different ones) have their cookies set up?

Edit:Since my original post was inaccurate and it's been proven that I don't know how to use a website (at least not with Chrome), I've tried changing the title to better reflect the nature of the discussion and meet the demands of the alarmist audience. Unfortunately, I could only change the local title not the actual title used on the thread listing.

Maybe your title should be: "Trouble with Ribble Website ?", not alarmist that they are not selling to the US.

I just tried a dummy order and got all the way to entering my CC info.

Lighten up. The title was a question, not a declaration.

If you click in the UK flag you get a drop down with all the other countries. They changed that thing since a couple of days ago or so.

Where it says change currency, same situation. Click and check US dollars.

Done.

The website does look different on my work computer, compared to my home computer. I thought something was amiss too, but the country and currency options are still there...for me anyways.

It seems that coasting doesn't, and if you ask around I'm sure you'll find most people don't.

I experienced the same thing the OP did... normally when you go there's a little button at the top you can click to set everything in US prices but I was using Chrome and now they have two buttons - choose currency and choose destination

It wasn't working the other day when I tried it but it is today. When I tried accessing the site using firefox it behaved the way I expected but now that has the new "features" too.

It looks like they were updating their web engine and managed it a bit poorly - maybe they ship to a lot more countries now? The list is huge.

Anyway, all appears to be well.

A friend posted recently that we used to define ourselves by which Star Trek we grew up with. Now we define ourselves by just knowing WTF Star Trek was.

OP, site updates sometime create problems if you have olde cookies in you cache...god that sounds dirty.
