Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I hope some video of this event surfaces!

A Southwest Airlines passenger was arrested late Sunday night after opening the Boeing 737’s emergency exit, jumping down from the wing, and attempting to flee in a service truck on the tarmac at Louis Armstrong Airport in New Orleans, according to witnesses. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office stated that the aircraft was still at the gate at the time of the incident and said the man was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. 4WWL reported that the identity of the passenger had not been released and no criminal charges had been filed as of Monday morning. The news station also showed photos of the emergency door being opened and the man being handcuffed by two cops on the tarmac. In a statement to Newsweek, a spokesperson for Southwest thanked “flight and ground crews for their swift action.”

Or, be sure to sharpen your axe before you set out to do battle with sign posts.

Going at a wobbly post like that, I'd wanna be armed with a good reciprocating saw. Maybe chainsaw.

varsity ain’t it.

the good one was some little place in the Marietta square that Alton brown frequents. We went back there a year or two later and it wasn’t very good anymore.

tried a bunch in what they call uptown? all not very good, and the service at all of them was like atrocious.

if you know some good ones, list em, cuz I gotta go back after Christmas.

if you want non-fancy, but good, there are some good braz holes in the wall in Marietta.

Speaking if good around here, last week at different meals I had good intestine, blood sausage, and pig face… maybe I’m turning into a weirdo.

Saturday morning a neighbor down the street said he was worried about the German Shepherd running loose. He was feeding her and said he was going to try and take her to the vet to see if she had a chip. I didn't see the dog again so I hoped she had found her way home. Today she was back and my other neighbor told me she was chasing the peacock.
We were talking when a lady drove by and said the dog belongs to her neighbor up the street. frack. Some people shouldn't have animals.

I passed the Brown Squirrel at 3:10 PM. 40 minutes later than my estimate. Those responsible will face disciplinary action. My salute was appropriate.
I-75 is lousy with Buc'ees.

That's kinda freeky. 2 days ago a buddy from high school messaged me on Bookface (he actually married my high school sweet heart, and divorced her) and 2 old drinking partners from my 40's a couple of weeks ago....and Dave from the fraternal order of police found me again....
