That's a great e-mail exchange. Maybe we should start calling you Lance Junior?
I enjoy your videos very much and usually watch them all the way through. Because of them, I have ridden in places that I otherwise would not. Hopefully, some day, we may meet in person and you can "interview me". I've done a bit of video editing and know first hand the time and effort it takes to produce a finished product. I've often wondered, "does he ever work?", (meaning that I wonder if you have one of those necessary evils most of us call a "job"). Keep up the good work. I know what a time sink videos can be and only hope I can be in one of them one day, (you can be sure that I'll be bugging you for the full-res footage so that I can burn a DVD to send to anybody who cares about me.) Thanks again.
p.s. Just out of curiosity, which video editing software do you use?

But his is the 5th year of posting reports so when I do go back, I'll still be posting sans midweek ride "videos". Pictures are fast and painless.
Plus, kids all grown up so lots of time, only the two of us.
I use a combo of programs. I use the FLip built in in program to make small ride clips. Then I edit the interview clips into one.
Then I use window movie maker 2011 to ad captions, titles, pictures, and add music, and paste all clips together.

Yup, might be a while cause he has lots of recovery to do but hey, I'd do a flatter ride as well. Every ride he does at this point is a "BIG" ride!

Well don't know about that...you've got plenty of practice climbing that beast! I've never ridden over there and have it on my to-do list before the weather starts chilling down. I'll have to watch the posts and see if I can time it when I know others will be there.

That is pretty touching. There is light and can be success after cancer.
Lance is of course; the exception.
Here's an example of someone who regularly kicks my (and many others) asses at Over the Hump races in OC.

Hey Beanz, thanks for sharing. It's very nice of that guy to contact you. I hope he fully recovers, he seems a great guy.
By the way (if I haven't said it before) I enjoy your posts too. And the music in your videos.... it's like you've stolen my CDs ... or maybe we grew up with the same music going to the same high school. Just that I sucked in English.
