Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

ViperZ, Love your Tuscany. What brand of stem is that? I looked at Cadence & could not find the same model as the one in your pictures. Thanks for the nice photos.

Nice Titanium rides folks!

Thanks for those that commented on my Tuscany. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I have been riding it in my basement, I get about 1 downward pedal stroke and that's it

Minsta, the 7 is looking mighty fine

Thanks, it is a Carbon Cadence, however you have to contact Jon to get one. He can be contacted by email at jon@cadencecycle.com

Nice Ti Cookware too TJ

I have Titanium pins holding my ankle together too

super sick bikes. I LOVE the orange IF, and the Sevens.

I thought about buying a Seven when I was looking at new bikes last year.

of course I went carbon.

I need to learn how to take better pictures. ViperZ, how do you like those Zipp bars? I've been looking for a nice semi winged set of bars that isn't too decaled out or crazily shaped.

Anyway, since my last photo doesn't do the bike justice, I'm posting a picture directly from the Moots site. I love how Ti welds can be so clean compared to other materials.

It's too early to tell, as I can't ride it yet, but they really seem stiff in shop tests. The overall size is abou tthe same as a round bar with cables tacked on the front and back. The Zipps's just channel the cables under the bar.

Nice welds on the Moots. I seen on Dean's site the weld look fantastic too ,

That's the one thing that's holding me back, I'd like to be able to leave the tops exposed w/o tape (it's an asthetic thing) without having the brake cables flopping all over the place. Still though, they may be on my purchase list for when I'm working full time over the summer.

That Tuscany is truly a piece of art. Will you actually take it out of the studio?
Thanks, Yes, I'm itching pretty bad to ride it, HARD!

Your Firenze is Ti, it's still awesome just because of that

Let's Ti one on!

- low end Merlin, a Fortius, but sturdily built... now with a WH-560 wheelset, yellow Vittorias from Chuck's Bikes, a homebrew leather saddlebag, 'natural' cork tape, and a honey Brooks (i'll update this pic later on edit):

Thanks ViperZ. I'll be honest with you though, the KSwords look ultra cool for sure, but they make my hands numb on longer rides. I have FSA KForce anatomics on my other bike, and I like them a whole lot more.

Okay, now I know this isn't a road bike, but I'm too much of a pseudo proud parent not to share. Just imagine it doesn't have disc mounts or something....whatever stops you grumblin' and starts ya smilin'

I have heard the odd story of the KSword combo and numbness. I was wanting a bar stem combo for they looked so cool.
