Dura Ace wheel warranty?
The Shimano website says that "ALL Dura Ace components are covered for 3 years". However it also says "wheels are covered for 1 year". Which one is it, 1 year or 3 years

Is a wheel a "component"? I would say that a hub or a rim or a spoke is a component. I think they are clear: wheels are covered for 1 year.

I split my time between road and mountain and in the mountain world, most people avoid Shimano hubs like the plague. The Dura Ace hubs seem to review every well though...

I have used Dura Ace hubs for 30+ years without issue. The hub body cost retail is $290.00, according to the LBS, though I saw it foe less online. I have switched to Chris King wheels lately because the warranty is longer and they are fairly local for me.

Cheapest I've seen is ~$300... online they're often closer to $400. I wonder if we're talking about the same model/generation... anyway, hoping for the best!
