Any experience with cheap Chinese Direct drive trainers
Hi, I'm new to cycling and because there aren't a lot of cycling groups in my area and there's no cycling culture in my city. I'm looking to buying a trainer After seeing some reviews I think a direct drive trainer is worth it because of a superior experience and no tire wear, but they are EXPENSIVE, does anyone has experience with AliExpress trainers or is this a situation where is not even worth it to look at the cheap stuff.

You pay your money and you take your chances. I wouldn't buy a dodgy no name trainer from AliExpress, but hey...

You can pick up a good, brand name, wheel on smart trainer and a trainer tire. I put the trainer tire on an old spare wheel so I wouldn't have to keep changing the tire over. I don't know how much the AliExpress unit is, but I think I'd rather spend the money on something I know is going to work and last.
