Cycling Gear Bag
I bought a duffel bag at Performance waaaaaaaay back in the mid 90's. It's getting tattered and needs to be replaced, but I can't find anything like it anymore. It has:
- Helmet compartment on one end
- Vented shoe compartment on the other end
- Vented pocket for gloves
- Small compartment for sunglasses
- Main compartment
Anybody know where you can find such a thing nowadays? I figured people would still use these, especially those who race and needs to carry all that stuff to and from events.

Hockey bags have compartments for footwear, helmets and other accessories. Goal keeper bags are largest. Referee's bags are smallest.

I use a milk crate. Holds everything and is nicely ventillated.

I have an old Adidas sport gear bag I bought in Guam in 2001. I keep looking at the Hencapie pro bag for a replacement.

While it is not a duffle, this past spring I bought the black version of this case from Cat5gear. Works great.

I guess you guys don't get your shoes wet, muddy, and dusty the way I do.
I put my shoes in a separate "mud" bag with a nice tight drawstring and put the whole thing in the duffel. I keep the duffel clean that way. Dirty, wet clothes also go into a separate stuff sack.

Since the OP has his answer, it's the milk crate route for me too.
Cheap, ventilated, and a few filed lines on the top hold a cap or gloves above everything so they can dry too.

To the OP- I had a volleyball bag like that BITD. Compartment for ball (helmet), one for shoes, and center section for everything else.

These are very nice ! Just made my Christmas list
I use a variety of bags but if its a weekend trip , i can fill a moto gearbag to the brim - (shoes, spare shoes, several sets of kit, 2 helmets, and one may be a full face if going DH'ing, plus a couple of sets of street clothes for apres' wear
Ogio has a huuuuuuge variety of really nice high quality bags

I like all those options... like the Cat5gear, Adidas, Hincapie... But I found I prefer a 'backpack' type bag rather than a duffel...
Often, race venues were some ways from where you could park, and getting around with a bike and gear worked best with a backpack
Way Back I used a real backpack, then when my daughter went up the ranks in soccer, she got an Adidas team bag/backpack with separate wet compartments and shoe storage and room enough for multiple jersey, shorts socks, and regular clothes... When she went off to Uni, I commandeered the bag, and have been using it since, now almost 25 yrs old.
Used also for XC skiing gear, clothes layers, etc.
similar to these:

https://www.amazon.com/Mens-Under-Ar...18036883&psc=1
https://www.adidas.com/us/sports-fun...43457011GM4538
I organize by using various colors of stuff sacks... shoes in separate shoe compartment... wet/sweaty helmet gets strapped to outside...
works for me.
Ride On Yuri
I have an Athleticogear SkiBoot Bag (for Alpine Ski Boots, hlemet, and assorted other stuff), very happy with the quality/construction and features... Ton of room, enough so I can put a whole Ski outfit in with the helmet, separate compartments for each boot, etc...Perfect for the drive up to area and quick change so I can get the afternoon on the hill...
