WTB French-threaded pedals

These are for an old French bike, they don't need to be fancy but they do need to have an old-style look. Some Lyotard rat-traps (sans reflecteurs) would be great. Thanks.

If nobody here has any for sale, just search at eBay for Maillard, TA or Lyotard pedals. There's lots of them for sale..... All different styles and price points.

How about these...

Early seventies PX10 but not sure if I still have them...

Cleaned up...

Got a couple of sets like these, taken from a LeJeune and, I think, a very similar set (in excellent condition) with alloy cages...

Send me a PM and I will look tomorrow. I don't like to go outside, this early in the Spring, due to the presence of black bears which are impossible to see in the dark.

I have tow sets, at least. One set is not bad, the other (alloy cages) is very nice. I need a Cinelli 80 - 90 mm stem or a set of Simano 600 32 hole hubs, in case you are interested is some trading.

Here are two sets of French threaded pedal sets that I have on hand right now.

Set one - all steel with traps and straps. As shown, they have not been cleaned and/or waxed...

Set two - steel with alloy cages, very nice condition in my opinion. Will include traps but do not have any spare really nice straps. As shown, I did a quick clean-up when I first harvested them...

I have no idea what they are worth so, if anyone is interested, pm me with your idea of value. Shipping will be extra and if interested, send me you zip or postal code so that I can determine a shipping cost.

In answer to a question the OP presented, I think that the pedals will clean up nicely. Most of what looks bad is just dried oil and debris. The pedals are working well, no bends or dents but, as mentioned, somewhat dirty. I did a quick clean to one of the barrels and have shown the result in a picture. Until I took a really good look at them, I did not realize that the AFA traps are coupled with an easy to restore set of straps, marked "AFA" on the clips as well as the leather. All in all, I think the entire set to be worthwhile and the sort of thing I would not hesitate to use on one of my own bikes. That said...

Condition is a very subjective thing. One man's "really nice" could well be another man's "so so". With that in mind, I hope the pictures help. The traps are in the poorest shape but even they will improve with some cleaning and waxing...

...did you ever come up with something on this ? I just went through the pedal box out in the garage, and there are four or five pair. PM me if you still need them.
