Hello from Canada
Hi, been a long time lurker and finally decided to introduce myself.
I'm from Canada, just outside of Montreal.
Found the forum maybe 8 or 9 years ago while researching a bike i eventually bought off my local CL, a 1993 Miyata 916.
Still have that beauty and love it.
Post Pandemic, I have decided to (eventually) start cycling again, but i have decided first to learn how to do my own repair and mechanical upkeep.
Really enjoying this new to me aspect of cycling.

Hi back from a sort-of neigbhour. I'm in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. Bravo you for the Miyata! You might find one or more of the Montreal bike coops helpful for mechanical skills. A quick Google will give you a list. II volunteer at not-for-profit bike shop in Ottawa that has helped me a lot.
