Sturmey Archer FM

I have a wheel with an FM hub that makes a lot of noise in normal gear. Yesterday I took the internals out to have a look. For some reason I was expecting something that looked like fw/s5 internals. Being mechanically challenged, I puzzled over it to the point my spouse was getting frustrated.

I still don’t think I have complete understanding, but it seems like the primary gears must be worn loose and sloppy so that they rattle when they are idling. Are parts available if I wanted to overhaul this hub?

If I unscrew the gear ring from the non-drive side could I replace the internals with an S5?
