Bianchi Veloce Road Bike Excellent Condition - $500 (Boston)

This 49cm classic Bianchi road bike with steel frame and Time pedals is in excellent condition. The only reason I'm selling is because I want to upgrade to a carbon frame.

Many would not neccesarily agree that that would be an upgrade.

Amazing deal in Calgary!

So, this isn't eBay or Craigslist, but it's a local posting somewhere in Canada. I was looking for information on a Champ du Monde Lejeune bike that I think I have and came across this. For $70, almost complete, I would seriously hop on a plane and go see this one. The derailleur is easily worth that much. Someone has to go see it.

Nice Small Miyata 712 with a full shimano 105 group.
Road Bike For Sale - $150 (Gilbertsville PA)

Miyata Road Bike - Excellent Condition!

This is a women's / girls bike, but also works well for boys as it is not a 'girls style' frame (it is my son's bike and he loves it, but has outgrown it).

12 speed w/Shimano 105 components. Brakes, seat & 700c x 23 tires just over one year old.

19.5" Seat tube, (49.5cm) ideally fits riders: 5'0" - 5'4"
Can actually work well for riders up to about 5'6"

This bike has been gently used and well maintained! Had a complete overhaul and cleaning last spring by Tri-County Bicycles in Pottstown (~$65.00), ridden less than 50 miles since then.

Road bikes have skyrocketed in price - If you are interested in road riding, here is a great starter bike for a low cost!

Here's one for the Chicagoans and those in SE Wisconsin - a Trek 520 true touring bike. I have to say this looks mighty tempting (aside from the Biopace rings), but I got no money, honey.

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/bik/1679038147.html

Trek 520 Touring Bike - $399 (Huntley)
Date: 2010-04-06, 11:50AM CDT
Reply to: sale-nanwz-1679038147@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling my 22.5" Trek 520 touring bicycle. This bike has just been completely overhauled for the season...bearings repacked, wheels trued, components oiled and adjusted, etc. Tires are near new also. The bike is in wonderful condition and ready to go! My price is $399, local deal only. I will not ship. Cash only also...no trades. I live in Huntley, but I work in Chicago and may be able to bring the bike with me for delivery. I will respond quickly to emails.

Also, I have just mounted a brand new bike computer with heart monitor system on this bike. If you want that system, it would be an extra $50. Otherwise, I will remove it for my other bike and sell without it.

Thanks,
Alan

fairly rare Fuji Opus IV. It is rough and dirty, but I kinda like the look of them.

Spotted this not too far away and can't identify it in the slightest (have to admit, I'm not too versed in Schwinn). It looks quite a bit nicer than your average 80s Schwinn. The dude said something about it being a "Schwinn Concord down tube shifter" in an email, but I don't know what that means and I've never heard of Schwinn having a model called Concord. My guess is either late 80s or early 90s, whatever it is. Anyone got a clue? Either way, I probably shouldn't get too interested unless it's something incredible.

For starters, you'd need one of the proprietary Gian Robert front derailluers...

Actually, you might be able to use an E-type front derailler. The kind that mount to the bottom bracket. Though that wouldn't look great, it would be just as functional and cheaper to boot.

I had the black Circuit for a while. It is a great riding bike and the Suntour Sprint components worked really well. I only sold it because I got the red one that is one size bigger and fits better.

If it fits you and it's as clean as he says I would consider it. I think I sold the black one for $300 so IMO $275 is ok but it should have really good tires. Ask the guy what happened to the original white Concor saddle. Those are worth some coin.

I put 9 speed STI on my Circuit and do a 40 mile group ride every Sunday. I can't say too many good things about it.

I don't think this is the deal of the century...but it's not insane for a 531 bike either. Maybe he'd take less.

Great road bike--Shimano 500 components, newer Vredestein tires, gel seat, tubeless frame. $200 cash takes it.

The frame size is 30 inches from the center tube to the ground. The seat tube is 8 inches.
