Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A guy in our club has one. I’ve never seen it in motion, though.

This morning on my drive to work, I saw a woman on an e-bike, probably going about 20 mph. No helmet. The bike had a child seat behind her, and there was a kid in the seat. Also no helmet. I wasn't sure I'd really seen what I thought I saw, but I looked in the rearview and yes, it was a child seat.

#MOTD West Coast Woes Edition

However, Baylor and Kansas count as western teams, obviously.

The UK stores stopped selling pretty much anything, sadly. Bankrupt.

Two things:

1) No.

2) There are plenty of schools offering full scholarships (and more) to utes (from all over the country) who are much more interested in playing basketball than going to the mountains or the beach (this is a way bigger area than SoCal).

I just don't think west coasters are very disciplined sportsballers, unless they can raise John Wooded from the grave to coach again.

I went to my out of system cardiologist today, mainly to not have to wait the eight months for the in system appointment.. I wanted a diagnosis somewhat sooner than that. This guy is 70 years old, and a cyclist in his ute. He gives an exam like no other. Folks come from far away to see him. One couple had their suitcase with them, to spend the night and return tomorrow. Anyway, besides telling me to stay on my medication (it was prescribed until we know what’s going on), he prescribed more cowbell cycling. To improve circulation. So I guess mojo or no mojo, doctor’s orders.
An addition to my early morning routine.

I think he's complaining about how your post quotes show up, which I don't assume is your fault, since I've seen some post quotes from others on other threads look like that.

That’s not it. He’s been hounding me about my quoting, for the past couple days. I’m doing something wrong, so says Velo Vol. But he is unable, apparently, to just say what it is. He’s acting like my wife. Giving me half the story and expecting me to know what he’s talking about.

This quote came through fine. I don’t know what’s going on with previous quotes.

I think he is pointing out how your quoting sometimes is dysfunctional.
