Santa came early...
Not only did he come early, he borrowed my car.
It seems that I have joined the road disc club for the first time.
It's a flat bar road commuting bike with a 4130 steel frame and a 1x11 drive train.

And I had to bring N back into balance since I've had to retire one of my road bikes. A bit of N-1 is especially sad when the frame is kaput and you have to strip it.
Just got to secure it well. Can't keep it in my apartment in the longer term and the bike storage area gets regular visits from the local youth who take anything not well locked. The folding Brompton is fine indoors and I keep my race bikes at my workshop.

Just out of the box, so shifting not 100%. I also haven't given the brakes a solid test yet. However, handling is fine and fit is very close to my road bar bikes (although I might play around with the angle of the brake levers a bit).
Swapped to one of my old saddles, added some SKS Raceblade fenders, put on a set of short bar ends (as much for hand protection as for riding position), and the assorted lights/cages/etc.
Before anyone asks:

They sell a road bar version, but the flat bar will be better suited to one of my planned uses with a cargo bike conversion thingy that I've purchased via Kickstarter (see here).

Congrats on the new ride! Look awesome. And welcome to the disc brake club too. I joined this summer. No regrets.

That TreGo thing is absolutely bonkers! How does it ride with that leanable front suspension?

Yes! I'll include something as a bolt on to any larger basket/tub I design to fit on that frame.
