Track specific pedals
I was looking at toe straps, because I pulled out of my ( 105 ) pedals the other day, and it seems most people use zip ties and such to attach the straps to regular clipless pedals, but I also ran across this:

I'm used to associating Exustar with cheap "compatible" junk, but it seems these are the only track-specific pedals that exist anywhere. Looks to be Look Keo compatible cleats?
Anyone have any experience with them? Or know of other track racing pedals?

There are lots of mods for standard high quality pedals that look classier than a ziptie. But I have never seen or heard of anyone breaking a ziptie.

Zip ties were good enough for Aussie natl team sprinters when I got the chance to look at their bikes up close a couple of years ago. SPD-SL + straps secured with zip ties.

I've used zip ties for over 2 years with no issues with LOOK Keo 2 Max, Dura Ace, and Ultegra pedals. The zip ties simply hold the strap in place. They do not bear any load. Zip ties are also lighter than making metal eyelets through which the straps would thread.
It's also an inexpensive solution. If it works, it works.
If you want, I could sell you some $50 zip ties where I draw "LOOK" or "Shimano" on them with a sharpie

The zip tie hold the strap from old school pedals onto your clipless pedals. This photo isnt the best example, but I am tired.

I just changed over to zip tie-strap system on an ultegra pedal from the traditional cage and strap. The zip tie system works great, my feet feel better and I don't have any trouble clipping out as long as I remember to to loosen the strap. It's sure a lot easier to get into the pedal now. I also have friends that use the Exustar system, and they like it as well.
