Show me your URBAN ROAD grunge
Coughed up my toast when I read that "urban road" is the next hottest trend in cycling; OTOH kind of like what I see here:

We used to call it “urban assault” riding back in the days when I was doing that, shooting around town with near-reckless abandon. I’m a little too old to really get after it like that nowadays (my knees don’t always immediately do what I want them to ), but interestingly, what I call my “fast urban” whip, a Tern Rally, really isn’t all that different from the Viner in the OP:
Tern Rally
Mine’s obviously got a more gentlemanly aesthetic, but the narrow flat bars are ideal for dicing up traffic, IMO, and I’m definitely not rippin’ alleycat races, so the added accoutrements work for me.
Although I won’t be joining the “urban road grunge party,” I get it and think it’s cool.

Fuji Ace now a home built, old school Fuji
I like riding this bike, definitely different for me. Fits most 32mm tires, a bit heavy and very comfortable.

I have no bike for riding urban areas. Road bikes don't seem appropriate for that type of riding though I know many do use them in the cities.

Your Tern Rally looks classic. Definitely not the grunge dissonance projected by carbon fiber wheels on a rusty frame.
