Unicorn tire, I hope this exists.

I'm in a location where I'm going to be hammering on shale for the next year or so.

I got two sidewall cuts in the first month on a 2.2 Race King. It's toast now. I thought the tire rode better and offered better traction than the stock bontragers not to mention they were 950+g per tire. So I actually dropped several pounds when I switched tires and went tubeless. I'd like to maintain that diet but the slashing is not sustainable.

So I'm looking for something that may not exist. 2.2 up to 2.4, good sidewall protection, good ride, and 750g or less?

Am I smoking crack?

750 ? Tha's going to be tough. Big fan of Maxxis here in New England. Lots of rock here, not always pointy ones. Look at the exo casings. Vittoria is also popular, check some of them out.

The Anchracite sidewalls, not the race gumwall colored ones.
Weighs about 100gm more that the Race king, no sidewall weeping, sidewall better cut resistant. Similar tread to Race King. Light up.
