Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Got an incredible deal on ebay. I know people have blasted this as a low-level entry bike, but I think I did pretty well. I paid about $350 shipped for it. That does not include the wheel and other upgrades, but I would have done that with almost any other bike anyway. My plan is to ride the snot out of it and then transfer everything to a new frame. Thanks for the compliment!

I like how the silver drivetrain goes well with the cool colorscheme of the frame. The black components nicely offset it too.

I wish I had one.

EDIT: Too bad picture didn't come over too.

That looks like a "before and after" photo of what happens when you wash your bike in hot water! Seriously, those are nice bikes and it looks like you got quite a deal!

Here is my bike that I bought on eBay. Actually, I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about it. All the seller posted it that it is a 2001 model, and it is a 58cm. I also know it has the previous generation of Dura-Ace. It has a Time carbon fork and Mavic CXP33 wheels, are these any good? Other than that, I'm pretty much in the dark about the specs of this bike, but I do know that I ilke it (even though it's the only one I've ever owned). Anybody know anything else about the bike, like how much it cost new, how much it's worth now, or how much it weighs? thanks all.

Email Specialized or visit their website. They used to have specs going back a couple of years.
