I am glad that you updated the thread, Indiana Mitch. I enjoyed reading that. As far as you saying your PX-10 was too big, it just looks like classic French Fit to me.

If top (declining) dollar is the goal here, eBay is far and away the best option. Better do it quick though, J. Powell and Co warming up the printing presses again...

I can give you two data points.
Sold an 89 Paramount for $1250 and an 84 ‘Rainbow’ Paramount for $1250. Both Waterfords.
Both with complete Dura Ace groups (8 speed 7402 on the 89 and 6 speed 7400 on the 84).
Both were in perfect condition (e.g. flawless paint, new tires, cables, housing, saddle, bar tape), needing nothing,
Both were 57 cm bikes.
Both were sold on eBay in 2019, one in the early spring and the other in early fall.
Not sure what Paramounts of that vintage are going for these days, but in my opinion both buyers got a very fair deal.

His bike is worth about the same as it was two years ago. The COVID-19 price surge has made $200 bikes worth maybe $275. But, $1000 bikes are still worth around $1000.

And now, 3.5 years later, the market has dropped and it likely is worth even less.
