Just got this Peugeot and have some idea, part two
I found this on marketplace for 40 bucks. I could not pass it up. Im not sure if i should have..
Frame number is 1471_09B (or something? the space could be a 5, 6, or 8?)
There are no reflectors (it might have had fenders that are now gone?)
the wheels need adjusted, they are crooked. rear one is worse. They are both likely original, with the quick release large hubs
The handle bars are quite interesting, with white grips, and white plastic brake levers.
White cables all around.
There is a chain guard, though i will need to gently straighten it. Theres a bit of rust here and there, but i dont think a good rub and some CLR or other tricks would fail to remove it.
The tires are shot. Which sucks. Once i decide on tires im going to have to order 6, probably.
Photos are worth 1000 words, so here's about 10 000 words for you:
Looks good in the sun, i think a wax will do it nicely, as the paint is a bit faded
Diffrent pedals from my blue one
(I've already removed that light)
the handle bars will clean up nicely, this is after a damp soap and water wipe
I think that green writing is a bike shop sticker.
looks like the original Simplex derailleur
same for the rear
serial number, but also.. signs of a rack or fender?

You need to change your name to MixteMan or something like that 😎
Another nice score but yeah - tires - I would definitely make friends with the most vintage friendly local bike shop you can find and see if you can do a bulk tire order….

Yeah im going to need a seacan of tires at this rate.. Just the 20ft ones.
I'ev done some interweb sleuthing and this seems to be a 1975 model, and maybe a UO-18? the lack of any reflectors at all, and the marr around the hole there..maybe it did have fenders? The previous owner stated it DID have an air pump
