OK, thank you all for taking the time to provide your input. Very valuable. Although I am rather frugal, the cost to buy winter times does not seem economically advantageous over riding my existing high performance road tires. How fortunate that I live in such a great climate! Not the Great White North, not North Dakota, not the North Shore; just good ole North Carolina!
