Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I actually broke down and had to buy a wind vest for a charity ride that started out at 49 degrees.
It's South Florida so you know, 49 is like deep winter freeze

Thanks ARPRINCE - gonna have to try on both a LG and MED and return one. I have a feeling the Med is going to be too small based on your info.

Other than getting an entirely new bike, related purchases included a helmet, lights, bottles and ingredients for homemade energy bars.

Cheap t shirt at the dollar store to wrap around my head to use as a makeshift mask. I didn't feel like spending money on a dedicated face mask because I don't ride in the winter. Also makes me look more like a fred than ever

$120.00 on Craigslist, w/ cassette.

The brake tracks have some wear, tubulars are pretty good. Just the thing for my hoped-for entry into cyclocross.
