Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same with prednisone.

DougRNS has no excuse for his bone density problem.

I just ordered a couple kickstands this morning. A two fer one deal. One will go on my wife’s bike, to replace the lame one that’s on it now, and the other might just go on one of my road bikes. They clamp onto a single chain stay. I have never been averse to kickstands. Or pie plates.

Mrs. GJ couldn't take an aromatase inhibitor. It gave her what felt like hyper-menopause.

Some were clearly newbies and/or families with little kids, but some were “serious” cyclists kitted up and zooming by us at 20MPH.

I felt like yelling at them to ride on the road where they belong.

There were also lots of e-bikes. The trail says specifically “No Motor Vehicles” but I suppose e-bikes don’t count even though they have a motor.

I have another appointment scheduled there. I should present the bill at the waiting room window and tender payment in coins.
