Lots of tree work made NCRR/York Heritage Trail Passable

Saturday am I started out at Freeland MD and bike 23 miles or so up to York. Lots of evidence of tree removal from recent storms, especially in the New Freedom and Railroad areas. Some evidence of flooding and increased washboarding but in general the trail in PA is in great shape. The Central Market at York was hopping.

I camped a few miles south of York a few years ago. The campground owner cut a path from the trail to the campground and marked a tree with neon green paint. You can push your bike up to the campground.
