Campagnolo compatibility question

Will a Veloce 10 speed front derailleur work with a last generation Athena 11 speed shifter (2014, I think)?

I've always had a hard time getting the Athena front derailleur to work as well as other Campy equipment. I'm thinking of retiring a bike set up with Veloce and would like to move the fd over to the bike with Athena.

I would think it should be fine. When setting up my current Athena build I used an old Veloce FD, (8 speed, i think) and it shifted fine. It’s the rear where you can have pull ratio issues, iirc.

I've never had an 11 speed. But, I've mixed and matched Campy front derailleurs from C-Record era thru 10 speed. I never had a shifting problem.

I just made the swap last night and it seems to work fine. Thanks
