Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I sure as hell hope you start a thread with very detailed photos of the set up and build up process. I have been holding back from getting one of these or a Tacx unit for a couple of year. Not going to happen this year either as I am dumping more money that I care to publicly admit on a professional espresso machine and grinder!!

For me, it is cycling related. I'll be so jacked up on espressos that I'll have to turn my guads up from 400 to 1200 watts. Hopefully my bike can take it.........

Besides, in my old age I'm trading quantity for quality (wine, coffee, bikes, hookers, rash creams and antibiotics, etc)

Just purchased a couple of hours ago. I picked this baby up for less than 200 and it will be given to my future father in law as a birthday gift tomorrow.
2002 Fuji Newest (Weighs in just over 21.5 lbs with pedals/cages/computer)

Bought and mounted a Ritchey Pro 4 axis, aluminum, 110mm stem, adapter for 1" to 1-1/8", threaded to threadless and Ritchey Pro Alu bars with fresh Specialized cork tape. Makes a world of difference for my old man's back.

DiNotte XML-1 and XML-3 lights, one for the helmet and one for the bars. Extremely bright and well-made. Great for off-road on the high settings. Great for road with both on medium or low.

Busy month. I used the advice of people here to help make some of my choices.

Bought Some Sidi 5.5's for 170 with shipping/tax/ect from Pricepoint. Got here (Los Angeles, ca) in about a week. (right)

Also picked up a LAS Victory Supreme helmet fits great and is awesome in every way so far.

Aged B17 for one of my vintage builds. If I can land the 83 Fuji OpusIII I have been eying it will probably end up on it.

Castelli? or Champion Systems like in the picts? Either way, they are really classy. I like the Cathedral of Learning in the background. Even though I'm a Penn State student, I'd rock those because they look way better than the Penn State team's kit. Do you have any for sale?
