Early 90's Lemond Maillot Jaune photoshoot.
This is another one I've never done a full shoot of after getting it set up. Had it for years and have shared some pics. Stayed with the original 8 speed Campagnolo parts but upgraded to a modern Fulcrum Racing 3 wheelset. Got some custom spacers and then was able to take a Veloce 9 speed cassette, drop the largest cog, swap spacers and then mount to the 9-11 freehub. This one is another favorite and the holder of the PR on my one common 25 mile route. The logical part in me says I should sell this one since I got the other Maillot Jaune in Team Z colors. But the stronger illogical side of me says, "NO WAY"!!! Original paint with the TSDI decal still on the downtube.
Bright and sunny out this morning which makes it a bit trickier to shoot.

Well, this was a hard on but I let this bike go this week. It was sort of redundant once I got the Team Z one. Still, this one gave me many great rides.
It went to a young lady friend of a fellow bike nut who's gotten some stuff from me in the past. She's "stepping up" for an old Bianchi to this.
It is good to free up some space in the bike cave.
