Well, she's given up on me purchasing Huffys, much like all of you here. So that's not the problem.

The real question is - where can I see a picture of this thing so I can imagine how Super Record would look hanging off of it!

I do like the idea, but my vehicle has a gross towing capacity of under 5000lbs, so I'd never get it there

I don't know which Huffy the OP saw, but I did a quick search and found this. I couldn't figure what the stumpy tube was for near the rear wheel, but when I looked harder I found it's a mounting point for a second rear U-brake.

Old style with coaster brakes. Both riders have to back peddle at the same time.

Pics or it didn’t happen? it’s not like I’m bragging about hanging w Tony Hawk at his vacation home.

I’ll see if they can’t send a pic.

My wife's aunt n uncle had a Huffy Tandem (I'd guess early/mid 90s). When her uncle passed away- her aunt, sensing my interest, tried REALLY HARD to get me to take it.

My family had one of those when I was a kid. We would take it on the back of our camper to ride around the campgrounds. My sisters hated it when I figured out how to steer from the back seat by leaning in the direction I wanted to go.

Wait, there are TWO people who want to ride a huffy?
Kidding aside, I got my start on what my parents could afford - a Rollfast " stingray-type" bike and later an Iverson "10 speed". Ride what your budget allows, I guess. As long as you're riding!

Come to think of it, a Huffy tandem is the best way to go, if you are going the Huffy route. Each wheel probably weighs 10lbs, so instead of just one person powering a 2-wheeled land barge, it's two! Even if it weighed 70lbs, by the time you divided it in two, you are actually ahead.

The only thing that can give an old, beat up, lead-filled, antiquated, seamed, gaspipe, planetary-like Huffy a run-for-its-money in the weight department and (actually best it) are the newest, most popular, most advanced bicycles being being manufactured today, often costing thousands of dollars

I like the musical notes graphics between the words Daisy. What song would play in your head as you pedal this behemoth?

Hey, did anyone ever tell you “you look like this famous skateboarder?”
