Whats your stem angle?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Check my sig: 90mm -17 4-Axis. Will soon be going to a smaller frame with a 2cm shorter headtube and a longer, regular -6 4-Axis.

130 mm -8 4-axis (I have a long torso and very long arms, so long reach for my height). I might go to something like a -16 at some point.

There is no "norm." Go with whatever you're flexible enough to handle and still be able to put the power down and don't just go by looks. 73 degree headtube and -17 stem with give you something that's perfectly horizontal to the ground. With a -8, you'll have a slight rise, and if you flip it to +8, you'll have a big rise.

-17 on the Bridgestone (51cm, threaded headset, Nitto quill stem)
-6 on the Trek (56cm, threadless headset, Nashbar stem)
+40 on the Voodoo (52cm, threadless headset, Salsa stem)

Reach on all three is within 5mm, bars are all 1" below saddle level...
