15.5 miles with a couple of pokey friends who think 12mph is speeding. Low 60s but a fair amount of wind. You ever notice how it's always a headwind - both ways? Just like gravity - it's everywhere. But it was a nice ride.

Another ride day with my friend, Frank. Shooting for another 52 mile ride but my new shoes are giving me some problems. Only second day wearing them and while the cleats feel spot on, the shoe just doesn't feel right. Got in 35 miles before calling it a day. Will try again tomorrow with the foot beds from the old shoes.

50.6 miles @ 16.2 mph. 55 deg with changeable winds mist and fog. The worst part was cleaning the bike after the ride.

A very nice 22 mile ride with my friends Lou and Tony before doing another 23 miles solo. Great weather this morning for a bike ride in the Sunshine State.

We did 67.1 miles on the tandem yesterday accompanied by BF member otg. With the 115 I rode last weekend and the 125 commuting this past week and the 67 yesterday, well you do the math (hint it's 307 in 8 days), I'm tired. So today we did not ride.

Yes, I rode today! First off, my 59th birthday was yesterday. I have reconfigured my bike so that I can now avoid falling down as much. New Brooks B66 perfect right out of the box, hope it never "breaks in". Rode about seven miles on a rail trail in addition to one hour indoors. Can only improve from here.

Saturday rode 104 miles, 6.5K of hills up past Douthat State Park to Deerfield and back via Goshen pass. Just about perfect weather. Road conditions a little rough, so I got beat up a little bit, but it was worth it.

Sunday 56 miles around Marshall VA, to Warrenton, Amissville, Flint Hill and back with a nice stop at the lovely Orlean Market.

Wow - 57 miles on a trike I'm impressed. I rode 24 on mine the other day and was pooped.

Nice 17 mile group ride today on the Allez. High winds predicted for the afternoon but they arrived early. 7 of us rode, one walked part way because of bad wheel tape. That happens when the bike sits for 2 years (he has 14 bikes). His wife rode back to get the pick-up truck for him. All in all a good ride.

Hot and windy this morning but the humidity was way down for a change. Ended up with a nice 35 mile solo ride before hitting the bike shop for some new shorts and bar tape. I don't know why, but I got a different brand of shorts than what I normally wear so I'll have to see how they work out. They really seem to be nicer than my current shorts for the same price.

10 very windy miles on the trike. Easy 15mph one way, hard 9mph on the return. All the ride was in the lowest chain ring.

Had some August temps here this morning. According to my bike computer, it was 97* toward the end of my 45 mile ride. Double checked that with the Weather Channel app and it showed 94*. This is just too hot, too early.

Today was a repeat of yesterday, temperature wise. However, there was slightly more wind this morning. Got out and did a nice and slow 35 mile solo ride and made several stops along the way to take some pictures and watch some people playing tennis and golf. I never stop for any of that kind of stuff, so today I decided to do so and made up my mind that I may have to do it more often. Very enjoyable ride.
