Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good plan just to help loosen up those muscles from today's ride.

State Championship crit tomorrow, but it is looking extremely likely that it will rain. Not sure I want to drive five hours to race against five people. We'll see.

Also, this showed up today:

15.6 lbs before cages and pedals for those counting.

My phone's camera keeps getting worse. I guess it is leaking light since last time I smashed it.

Also, I was chased by two dogs this morning. Had to dial it up to 400 watts to drope them.

None of his pictures are. He literally can't focus on the Focus because he hasn't learned how to wipe off a smudged lens.

@PepeM what happened to the Allez you ordered? And your lancemobile?

I also see your cats got to your blinds. Been there, have the dimished security deposit to show for it.

I could low key sneak this week from both of you if I get 70 in tomorrow. May be worth it. Nice ride today!

Steak and wine update.

Last night I grilled a ribeye and had a baked potato that was quite large. For my wine I had a California Meritage wine by Sterling Vineyards - 2014 vintage. It is A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and petit Verdot. This is a Bordeaux type blend. It is cheap at about $9 but I have had it many times and it is well balanced with some tannins, acidity and just enough fruit to make it appealing and flavorful. I had to finish it tonight since I can't drink that much wine on my own even with dinner and all night to do it. Rpen's suggestions led me to this wine so kudos are in order.

When it comes to hip replacements, steel is not exactly known for a plush ride, so to speak.

Sweet?

Illinois or Missouri? I can't ever remember which side of the Big Muddy that you're on. Missouri, right?

I asked what kind of seeds you made. Not what company. I wanted to see pictures of the seeds (for example, celery) but sadly the website does not have them.
That was in the early 90s. I grew tomato seed, cosmos seed, and some others that I can't remember off the top of my head. Pounds of tomato seed.

What's the difference between growing tomato seeds and growing tomatoes? Aren't the seeds in the tomatoes?
