Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm also still halfway through American Gods, but I've lost steam in reading it. Not that it matters since I've read it a half dozen times already.

The complete works of Thomas Hardy. It should take a little time.

So sorry to hear.

Bidding to 20x earnings is pricy.

I wonder when the Rapha line will be featured in Walmart?

I guess there's no point in telling you that the ending is great, go ahead and finish it, then...

You've read all his other stuff, right? It's all been good so far.

My wife laughed at me when I made a point of going in to a Kentucky Walmart with her when we needed to pick up some baby food on a road trip. In addition to the customers, I was treated to the sight of a women's 4XL tank top with something to the effect of, "I make this look good" printed on it.

....so obviously Rapha seems like a natural fit.

Well, I haven't real *all* of it. I think there's a couple of short story collections I haven't been through, nor his comic book stuff. He may have released a novel recently that I haven't read yet, either, but other than that I've read all his long form stuff and liked it.
