12 speed Ultegra Di2
Has anyone used the new Ultegra Di2 groupset on a coupled tandem? The groupset is available for rim brakes, so would work with cable actuated disc brakes. Since the shifters communicate to the derailleurs wirelessly, all the wired parts would live in the rear triangle. It seems to me this would eliminate all the connections that have to be connected and disconnected on a coupled tandem.
Any thoughts?

SRAM Red and Force 2x12 was available a year ago and probably still is in cable rim brake version. I put it on my wife’s single bike. I have the hydraulic version on our tandem. I prefer the spacing and range of stock part SRAM to Shimano. Installation is also a bit easier.
