Frame first, purchased at the Seattle Bike Swap with original Hans Ohrt shop sticker. I brazed bottle cages on it then sent it to Groody Brothers for powder coat, decals and clear coat. One of my kids has an artistic bent and recreated the decal, with an assist from @AZORCH. The seat post came from an earlier round of the BOC, I needed some pedals for toe clips and straps to be Eroica compliant. I had a set of quill style, but my feet are too wide for those to work comfortably. The ol' track pedal trick came into play when the BOC dropped at the Atelier with a great set by MKS.
The BOC has a way of knowing what you need and providing.

My problem is I don’t NEED anything YET, so the BOC will be like my tarot cards...

There's a thread and a sticker for that:
Pedals, some headset bits, probably a few other odds and ends came from the BOC

NEWS FLASH!
The BOC has landed on my doorstep (with a thud, of course). Initial reveal:
Some good stuff in there; some borked stuff. Hmm, which should I leave for @gugie?

Gotta new build for Eroica and Cino, I'll need to poach something from the box so I can add a BOC decal.

Funny that the last post by ultraspontane was to the BOC:
This Box O' Crap game is a neat concept, but should we really be paying to ship a bunch of low end derailleurs and brake levers from the 80's and 90's around the country? The vast majority of the stuff in that box should be thrown out or recycled. I had a few decent pieces to add, but since there is nothing of any worth to take and no room left in the box, I'm leaving it as is and sending it off to the next guy tomorrow.

A real piece of work. He apparently logged in last year, but hasn’t posted since ‘17. IIRC, he vanished for a while after being accused of being a troll and stealing the BOC, then reappeared as if nothing had happened (without acknowledging the disappearance of the BOC) and then promptly vanished again.
I really believe the Box o' Crap shows a person's character to some degree. It's kind of a team effort keeping the train going. When it runs well, it's like watching a great basketball team quickly passing the ball around the court for the easy shot. When it's not, it's like watching hero ball.

mountaindave, and USAZorro, you have been added to the list.
Having failed retirement, by going back to work I forgot how much time working takes up. I am just now getting to sit down to the computer. As a side note to mountaindave: You were going to post pictures of your mounted Parks double stand that came out MH's trunk junk. Care to show us the pictures of the stand. Smiles, Crapmaster Honk

I was the guy he was supposed to send it to. Made me so mad I ran for Crapmaster and won so I could reek havoc on any fool that decided to bogart the box.

I'm The Guy that sent it to him! At the time I had just been given the remains of a Closed Bike Shop by a friend in his 90's, I had put a bunch of NOS Small parts in there, Raleigh Cotters, chrome top tube Cable clamps and a bunch of stuff I don't remember. He Was a piece of work.

Here’s my haul, which includes some bits I believe I put in the last time the box came my way, quite a long time ago. Figured I’d make room for different crap:
BOC is crappingly refreshed, packed up, and will head to the Bike Butcher of Portland tomorrow.

Good to see the lever covers I put in go to a new home. They didn't stay in the BOC for long, but that is the luck of the draw, and the allure of the "Exalted Box O' Crap" and the desire to get it. Sign up now here! Smiles, Crapmaster Honk

Do I need to burn incense or sacrifice a goat before opening? I don’t want to remove the reverence of the BOC.

Goat's overkill, chicken entrails are appropriate, however.
