The Kiffy - Very cool 3 wheel folding trike

The size of trikes makes them a bit cumbersome for parking and storage, but the Kiffy is different because it is also a folding bike.

It transports large bulky objects, and folds up quickly for easy storage and portability.

Oh, this is so kool! I like it,... A nice folder that can carry stuff & easily be separated to be a shopping cart. With no issue it's paired back with the rear section to ride home. Wonderful!

Hahaha, wow! I never thought I'd be so excited for a trike! It's brilliant. That lean to turn feature looks like a blast.

I can't find the price anywhere, But with hydraulic brakes and schwalbes and looking like a good quality build as well as made in france I'm betting it's starting at over $1600USD.

That's a pretty nice machine. I've had a few trikes. Currently we have a Taga and a Christiania. A lot of fun, but the holy grail as far as I'm concerned is a trike that can corner like a bike. The only other one I know of is the Butchers and Bicycles trike. And now this one:

No info on the price, but since it only has two speeds and no electric assistance, I would expect it to cost around €1,000

There seems to be very little info on the company website. Not even an announcement date of if or when it will be on sale. It appears to be just a concept or prototype at this point.

The designers look experienced and the bike looks like it's ready for production. Out of curiosity, I e-mailed them but got no reply, though.

Someone in the Netherlands had the same idea, except it doesn't break into two parts, which is also convenient:

The Feetz also appears to be a prototype - not listed as a model on their site.

I'd also need more than 2 speeds. An igh is still fantastic nonetheless.

Oh, the Kiffy is cool, but there are actually a number of real folding trikes (example) on the market and that we've even discussed on this list before as opposed to this one that just comes apart - NTTAWWT.

That's a "recumbent" bike, and even though it's a trike it's a totally different beast. I'd consider a kiffy, I'd NEVER consider riding a recumbent in the city. I have seen it done, but it's dangerous.
