Looking for a shop around the LA area

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a bike shop that sells Folding bikes around the Los Angeles area. I'm willing to drive 40 miles. I found one called Safety Cycles. I'm wondering if there are other bike shops you guys can recommend. Thx

Well, I think I can recommend some to you. I too live in the Greater Los Angeles area. Now it depends what brand you want. Dahons are sold new through bike shops usually near you & most other people. Bromptons (my other bike I own) has 2 dealers now in the Los Angeles area. Here are both shops (I have done business with both involving my own Brompton):

Electric Bikes LA
El Segundo, CA
https://www.electricbikesla.com/

Whenever I am on the West side (usually at the Beach with the Brompton), I stop by at this shop. I bought my Brompton at it's former sister store (now closed) in Oceanside. While they have Bromptons, they also carry other folding & electric brands. Check them out.

Pasadena Cyclery
Pasadena, CA
https://pasadenacyclery.com/

This is my East side bike shop for the Brompton. They just became a Brompton dealer only a couple of months ago. They carry a wide range of bikes too. But they are no longer selling Dahons though (too much trouble for them).

I can also vouch for the two stores FF mentioned. Both are awesome if you want Bromptons and electric bikes, but neither shop carries Dahons.

Electric Cyclery in Laguna Beach sells Dahon, Montague and Bike Friday. See https://www.electriccyclery.com/catalog/.
