A camera. I just got a Go Pro and it is pretty cool to see a video of interesting rides. I have a mount on the handlebar and my helmet.

Darn it Glenn. Never seen an officially manufactured tire boot. Thought it was a wet wipe for hands. Always carried currency or a piece of Tyvek cut from a postal bag. Now I need to invent a product people will pay for that people can easily hack.

I would go for a rear rack, solar headlight and tail light, and a squeeze bulb air horn. I like to have two headlights, and I prefer headlights with built in horns. I use the horn in the headlight when up close, and the air horn when further away or in a noisy environment.

in case you havent gathered from every one else a saddle bag and some way to patch or repair a flat.
a few things that add color to the bike so you can find it in a crowd with no problem, yes i was riding a limited edition frame
and almost got in a fight because they looked to much alike once..

Is a repair kit an accessory?
More like a necessity in my estimation.

A Spurcycle bell is a nice addition. They have a bright and beautiful ring. Their water bottles are also quite eclectic!

I have:
  • A small bag with a bike multi-tool, spare tube, tire levers, and a patch kit. I also keep my car key in there when riding. My phone fits in a side pocket. (I keep an ID and credit card in the phone case.)
  • A mini pump next to the bottle cage.
  • A bottle cage with a water bottle.
  • Speaking of which, I like getting water bottles from local bike shops with fun names and designs.
  • A Timber Bell (rings with movement and can be adjusted, as I ride a lot of wooded trails).
  • A couple small stickers of local bike advocacy groups.
  • A small National Park sticker where I occasionally ride. (I'd like to add others should I get a chance to ride them).
  • Another basic idea is to swap the black zip ties for something more colorful.
