Is the Bicycle Classics website alive?
I inquired and sent an email to purchase a handlebar.
BC website link
Does anyone know if they are still in business?

In a word, no.
I similarly did not receive a response to an email request which I sent a couple of years ago. The BC website was last updated 12/5/2019. I also heard thru a source in the cycling business that BC is no longer active.

I heard the same from a friend of a friend who knows the owner. I've tried a few times t reach the owner in he past few years, without success. When he was located in Michigan, we were in a ride or two together, one of my first sources of C&V bits and pieces and information.

Sad to hear. I got to meet up with him while on business travel to Detroit. He was in a huge house in Ann Arbor and his ginormous basement was very organized and also thoroughly packed with NOS goodness. Hard to believe that was 18+ years ago. I remember that like it was yesterday. He gave me a quick tour of the town and school and we stopped at the stadium. The doors were closed but he suggested I try them. They were unlocked, and the sight of the completely empty, cavernous expanse of the field and bleachers made one hell of an impression (even though back home in Pennsylvania that year it was referred to as "the scene of the crime").
Several times I have wondered what Mr. Parker got on to doing.

Thank you Andrew G and Road Fan.
Strange how such sites just stay available, like ghosts.

I wish. Emails to Greg from a couple years back have gone unanswered.
He was a great guy to do business with, lots of classic parts and reasonably priced too.

And a rich store of vintage lore and details in his head along with a great willingness to share!
