Load Rating / Max Payload on 16" Dahon Getaway?
Does anyone know what the max payload is for one of these older 16" Dahon Getaway bikes like in the pic below? I googled up and down but could not find any information. Thx

First, the oldest of these models is now 41 years old. If it's 'new to you', check the condition of the frame and components before riding!
Now, I checked my old owner's manual but there was no 'max rider weight' listing. "Meets all standards." These bikes were sold worldwide but designed for the American market, so Dahon's modern word of '220 pounds unless otherwise specified' (100 kg) is probably good - but, and it's a big but: historical use says the bike won't 'break' under a heavy rider but the seatpost will bend.
