It's been posted for 18 weeks at that price. Used tandems get no respect.

The lugged frame with leather grips and saddle is what made me look at the bike originally, I had no idea what the back wheel was, so I looked it up. Still don't quite understand how the spokes work.

Superpedestrian - Copehagen Wheel - links with info in my original post below
"Invented at MIT and developed by Superpedestrian's team of leading robotics engineers, the Copenhagen Wheel redefines e-bike technologies. Seamless, award-winning design. All the innovation of the Copenhagen Wheel lives inside the brilliant red hub. There are no wires, throttles, or bulky external batteries. Braking, redefined. Backpedal to slow down and put power back into the Copenhagen Wheel for that extra boost of battery power" https://www.thebikerack.com/product/...heel-19160.htm

I was looking at that one but shied away from the mismatched wheels. Do you know what year is the bike? The Ultegra in rear looks newer, eh?

Never knew anything about that, so did a little research, the company stopped making the device. They also had very poor customer service, what one person described as non-existent. And the unit's run time was about half of what the company claimed, plus it would build up a lot a heat inside of it, probably from the fact that the battery and motor were all in the same unit. What's too bad is why someone didn't incorporate a dynamo hub to the system. Interesting idea but it failed in function.

That is sad, if my wife rode I would have bought that bike, Burly made nice tandems for riding around, they weren't racing bikes, but they were decent.

3TTT Record Stem and Bars - Shimano Levers

No relation to seller. It can be difficult to find these bars in good condition, as the stems doesn't have chamfered edges and can scratch the heck out of the bars when you swap. It's nice to find the combo already together, if they're the right size for you....

Here's what appears to be an excellent condition Trek 500, the price has dropped, and I bet they would take a reasonable offer, but even for $150 it's better than most bikes out there in that price range.

Heck, $175 for just the frame and fork is a good deal assuming nothing is seized and the frame is not bent. It's cosmetically a rider, and the parts are a mish-mash, but they're essentially free at this price -- you could probably ride it with little work, and swap out parts at your leisure if you want nicer and/or more matchy bits -- if it's your size and you're semi-nearby go take a look and offer $150!

That Nishiki Altron should be either 1988 or 1989. The components look to be all mismatched. So don't go by that.

1983 Schwinn Paramount 56 ultegra - $600 (Carlsbad)

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/bik/d/carlsbad-1983-schwinn-paramount-56/7719184181.html

From the seller:
I will include the original chrome chromoly fork that came with this. 1983 Schwinn paramount, the flagship racing bike at schwinn. This bike is in unbelievable condition for its age. A top of the line paramount in this condition is tough to find.

I built it up with 9 speed ultegra. Ultegra fightdeck shifters, brakes and front derailleur. The rear derailleur was replaced with a deore derailleur. It has ritchie wheelset and brooks leather bar tape. carbon fork and all components has this bike around 19 lbs. Not the lightest, but certainly still nimble. The ride of steel cannot be beat. With the carbon fork this bike screams.

Same Seller:
Raleigh professional mk5 single speed racing bike - $300 (Carlsbad)
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/...711857030.html

Raleigh professional converted to a single speed racing track city bike. All high end parts in almost new condition. bike is in wonderful shape. These raleigh professionals were the top of the line racing model the year it was produced. These MK5 are well known for the quality of the steel ride. This bike rides amazing. I have pictures of the bike with its original paint job. I sanded this bike by hand, primed it and painted it. I can say with absolutely certainty that there is absolutely no rust anywhere on this late 70s bike. The paint color is not an exact match to the original, but it is in the neighborhood. I also have the original headbadge. It will come with the bike and it can be attach very easily. All the decals are specific to the model, and period correct.

If you are interested in this bike built up as it was originally with 6 speed campy or even a restomod up to 10 speed, I could swap the parts and make it happen. It would be more money, but I have all parts(campy, ultegra and dura ace) to make this a restoration, or a restomod. I love this bike, but bikes should be ridden.

56 cm, in amazing condition. one scratch.

Early Raleigh 3-speed in Raleigh

Really nice early Raleigh 3-speed for $125. Nice time capsule! I know the poster. He is quite knowledgeable about bikes in general.

https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/d...721165555.html
For sale, vintage Raleigh. This bike needs a full restoration but is complete and can be restored to ridable condition very easily. The brakes are Rod and Linkage style which is quite unique. The Sturmey Archer rear hub is 3 speed and does need to be rebuilt. Paintwork is great and the Brooks saddle is in great shape. Standover height is 32". Seat tube length is 60cm. Top tube length is 60cm. I'm including a set of new, correct size 28" tires and tubes, new brake pads and some Sturmey Archer shifter assemblies. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

$400, pictures aren't much, but this could be a really good deal.

I'm selling a vintage 70s 56cm campagnolo schwinn paramount with campagnolo. It's in good condition, rides strong and has low miles on campagnolo wheels. I'm asking 400 for it. You can come pick it up when I'm home or pay through PayPal and arrange shipping on your end if needed. I had this bicycle for years, it belonged to my father and it was hung in dru sorage in the garage for years . I dont have time to ride or maintain it. So its time to retire it. I work the in logistics industry so I'm away for weeks at a time.

Morris-Line anyone?

New brand name to me. $125 gets you an Oria frame and a somewhat weird mix of parts.
