Bikes: A Bianchi C2C road bike, a steel framed touring bike and a Xootr Swift folder which has made the rest redundant!

Actually I liked it. I only watched about 8 minutes, but it was exactly what it said it was, video of a mountain bike ride. Contrary to other opinions I liked the downward perspective so you could see the front wheel and how it was negotiating obstacles. It would probably be better without the helmet in the picture, but then again it wasn't that distracting. I also liked that it had the actual ride sounds instead of music. If it had music it probably wouldn't be something I liked and I'm watching a bike ride. If I wanted a music video professional ones are all over the web.
Thanks for inviting me along on your ride.

Made a still from the video I was recording....
Was riding on a boardwalk type trail the other morning, when a (wild, I assume) cat jumped out of the weeds and started running on the top of the railing. Not sure who startled the other more, seeing as I wasn't expecting a cat to jump from out of nowhere...

Did an 80 mile ~7000 foot ride yesterday. The highlight was climbing the Montezuma Grade. 4000 feet from the hot desert floor. It's the same grade that the racers descend on the Race Across America and the Race Across the West.
Another highlight: Pie in Julian. Cuz as we all know, it's all about the pie.

The forest is loving the wettest October on record. The bike rides have been fewer of late.

Thanks! No plans yet, other than curiosity of some of the neat places people ride. I'm a huge fan of Google street view, and I use it to pre-plan my major rides to get a better sense of what I'll encounter. I'll also note landmarks from street view as waypoints; eg, in addition to my Garmin GPS, this was definitely helpful on my Haleakala ride.

When I'm not riding my bike I'm on the golf course. Yesterday morning some brief fog kept us from seeing the fairway. Fortunately we know the course so well we know where to hit it, and of course the ball goes where we're aimed?!?!?!?
This was the 2nd and 3rd tee box.
I guess if you were riding a bike in something like this you'd take a brief break??
