Well Folks,
At least it lasted a few trips before the PO gave it the American Tourister baggage test. Perhaps some clear packing tape will shore up the plexiglass for a few more trips. I could cut a couple more pieces, and even though I have plenty of crap I want to give you guys; I am not looking forward to having the exalted Box 'O Crap show up here again so soon.
If you could, most high Potentate CrapMaster, place me at the bottom of the list for a re-sighting of the Box 'O Crap for some necessary repairs.
Your lowly servant, MH

Thanks @2cam16 for the update. Looking forward to the Box and its contents!!! I will make sure it makes a quick pit stop here before it heads over to its next recipient - @mountaindave. BoC makes cycling life interesting!

I have the base, but the lid was beaten up and is gone. FBOATSB , who built the metal box originally, as agreed to reinforce the metal box to work better without the lid. I am going to forward it on to him and we will just have to get him on the list to receive the box and he can send it back out in the box. I will get the box to him and see how much time he needs and maybe we can insert him where needed in the list to make it so. With that in mind, I don't think we need other forms or reinforcement for now as it might be a wasted effort.

I have been swamped myself. I will get to it this weekend. I have your address unless it has changed recently. We appreciate it, so obviously whenever you get the chance to work on it. I know had a conversation in the fall and it just fell though the cracks on my end.

The Box has landed!! Pics going up soon, and then on to @mountaindave... unless the Crapmaster overrides the list order, per his post above. Crapmaster, what say you?

Sounds good Crapmaster! So the BoC visited for a little while and it is on its way to @mountaindave! I transferred everything to a new box, as the current one had seen better days. The BoC is now weighing a hefty 28 lbs! Below are my pics. Thank you all for this great activity. BF is an awesome community!

BoC as it arrived.
Sneak peak into the Box.
My take. Happy travels BoC!!!

My plans have changed a bit and I'll be leaving home for work before the BoC gets to me, so I do need to be removed from the list for now.
Sorry for the hassle :-/

I'm out of town, probably back Friday, first opportunity to rip open a new BoC Saturday. Looks like it has a hop to mountaindave before me though, so I think I'm good.

I have sent the damaged metal liner to @FBOATSB I believe he plans to use his forge at Mt. Doom to make the needed repairs. In case you are wondering why when you start handling the contents of the box and you find yourself muttering, "My precious"...
