Univega 12 speed mens road or race bike - 5'8" - 6'0" rider - $250 (Cambridge)

Avoiding public transportation? Try a bike!

This is a beautiful and well maintained 1987 Univega Viva Sport 12 speed road or race bike with numerous upgrades. Made in Japan! Need to ride it to appreciate how smooth it rides and operates.

22” frame (medium/large) is perfect for a 5'8" - 6'0" rider

Specs:
Chromoly triple butted frame - Lawee design
Cinelli quill stem and handlebars
Indexed suntour down tube shifters
Shimano slr brakes
Campagnolo hubs and rims
Campagnolo quick release skewers
Suntour Signature crank set
Suntour cyclone 7000 front and rear derailleur
700x25c tires
Upgraded zefal seat for a bit more comfort in the city
Pedals included are nashbar clipless pedals which have a decent platform to pedal with street shoes but should probably be used with clipless shoes or be replaced with platform pedals.

Great for commuting or for going on longer rides!

Priority given on a first come first serve basis. Can do a contactless handoff with payment via venmo or paypal or cash. Please include telephone number for fastest response. I have a few other bikes also for sale.

Thanks,
Chris

Good alternative to Trek, Specialized, Ross, Raleigh, Schwinn, Columbia, Nishiki, Panasonic, Univega, Puch, GT, men’s bicycle, 3 speed, 10 speed, 12 speed, 6 speed.

Great men's bicycle, for commuter, commuting, around town, vintage, road or race bike, student, 5'9", 5'10", 5'11", 6'0"

Asking price is.... ambitious.
Calling it "mint" is also... ambitious.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...241477127.html

1970 Raleigh Professional MKII - $2,500 (Westport)

A pretty much mint condition one owner Rayleigh Pro Mk II. Purchased new from Vandalls Cyclery in New Bedford, MA in 1970. 23 1/2" from crank to top of seat post. I found the bike a bit too large for me so shortly after I bought it I put it in storage in my attic where it has been ever since. I doubt it has 100 miles on it. Has the original Clement Futur tubular tires and brooks leather saddle. Original Campy Record equipment - even the toe clips are Campy. Decals are all original. There are a few minor spots on the chrome where there is a tiny bit of rust. This bike is truly a collector's item.

I don't think it was 64 Specilissima with the steel cranks and claw derailleur.

Would those be part of the slightly odd-looking fork angle?

Zero drive-side shot or info, but hey, it's a GT Karakoram for 50 smackers.

trail bike - $50 (Issaquah)

https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/bik/d/issaquah-trail-bike/7242424835.html

Hard to appraise, but that does look like a Deore from the NDS, and if it has the original saddle and stem, I'm guessing it's probably mostly stock.

For a slightly less reasonable priced old MTB, Canada's finest! (may not actually be Canadaian)

The Ishiwata MTB/ATB tubes are fairly rare, I tend not to see those in favor of Tange and TrueTemper.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...242520406.html

1988 Kuwahara Sierra Grande Old School vintage Mountain Bike MTB XT - $550 (RENTON)

Kuwahara Sierra Grande, '88 or '89 I believe. This was the top model manufactured by Kuwahara at the time. The frame was hand made in Osaka, Japan using Quad Butted Ishiwata MTB CrMo steel. The frame is lugged, and done well. The lugs are long and thin, perfectly filed. The fork is tig welded Tange MTB CrMo. Both frame & fork have Shimano dropouts. The seat tube is 16" from c-t-c, top tube is 21" c-t-c. The frame has bungs brazed on the seat & top tubes for a portage strap as well as a pump peg on the back of the sest tube.

Tandem MTB in Richmond. Same seller as the blue DeRosa up thread. 10-15 minutes from me. If someone was interested, I could probably pick it up and store it at my place of business. Shipping could prove difficult, though.

Don't sell this one short, Skip! $150 +/- bikeflights shipping, NO RESERVE auction, starting at $1.

I'd guess it's a motivated seller.
