Here's a source for Conti's in your size:

https://www.biketiresdirect.com/produ...r-ride-28-inch

They have the largest selection of Schwalbe sizes of
which I'm aware, but sadly, no 635's.

Calhoun Cycle has Schwalbe Delta Cruiser in creme. I've seen black 635 tires there before but not currently.

Related question: Where can I get alloy 635 rims? They all seem to be made of unobtanium.

As far as I know, you can't. We're lucky to be able to get any 28" rims at all (assuming Yellow Jersey still carries them).

Are you looking for alloy rims to be used with rod brakes?

Is there any reason you don't want to order from Schwalbe directly?

Flying Pigeon in Los Angeles (Highland Park) usually has them in stock. They also have the Chinese made rims from time to time if that'll work for you. PG.

No, alloy rims to be used with centerpull brakes. I think I can mod the rod brakes so I can use centerpulls. Or at least try to.

I bought the creme ones from Calhoun and was pretty happy about it.

I was wondering that too. I bought a set direct for my 1976 Tourist. The price wasn't bad and the tires arrived in a few days.

OK... I thought maybe you were looking for alloy rims with a Westwood pattern profile. Personally I would just go with 630 rims if you plan on using centerpulls. They are far more common and not that much smaller so they wouldn't really look out of place but of course you would probably have to go with a 36h hub. I assume you have a 40h hub right now? .

I'd like a 28"-wheeled unicycle. At least the steel rim wouldn't be a disadvantage.

Everybicycletire is where I got mine and they treated me just fine but there have been complaints about them in the past. They'll put you on backorder for months if they don't have the tires in stock, so call them before you place an order and have them check the stock.
That was a couple of years ago. Maybe they've fixed their issues.
