WTB Colossi Frames

Anyone know where I can purchase Colossi Frames? The Cycle Project Store in Singapore has them, but its $100 USD. Anyone know of any other options, or anyone have one that they are willing to sell? Thanks.

Sorry, bad joke. Superb frames are Colossis with decals on them, and the decals apparently cost a couple hundred bucks each.

I still don't get this. There is only 1 dealer of colossi frames in the US https://www.gridcitybikeshop.com/inde...one-frame.html and they charge $590 without a fork. Superb charges $700 with a fork. Show me a 1" fork with 30mm of rake for $110

I was curious about this as well, normally from what I understand Colossi frams come with a Colossi fork. Cycle Project Store has them, with fork I might add, but shipping to Wash, DC is around 110 USD extra!

I'm interested in Colossi frames as well. Looks like Grid City Bike Shop has some, has anyone dealt with them before?

Which is what it costs to safely ship a frameset across an ocean.

Here's a crazy idea: Contact Colossi. Anyone can buy their frames directly from them.

I do detect a fear if shipping costs on American forums. Sure, it adds to the price but people seem to separate out the shipping costs and use that number as something to scare the horses. As someone who comes from a country where any shipping from anywhere hurts and the local industry is seemingly a victim of tunnel vision, may I remind Americans that the important figure is the TOTAL COST, not any of the individual charges. Rather than getting wound up about $100 shipping, work out what the item costs you in total ie, in your hot, trembling, little hands. If the item is still worth the cost, buy it, if it's not, go for a lesser item or find some way of reducing the overall cost.

Worrying about the shipping costs just stresses you. Stress makes it hard to eat. If you don't eat, you don't poop. If you don't poop, you die ... so let's not start the chain in the first place.

I was curious about this awhile back so I emailed Colossi directly about frame prices and what I got back was that the Mondial track was $500 with fork and the Al Colossione with fork(steel or carbon/alu) was $360 and that shipping would be $150 bucks. So that comes to around $500 for the Al Colossione. And thats with one custom color. Shipping and painting takes a total of three weeks approximately as well. You can also get completely custom steel frames and fork for under a grand from them.

Thanks for the great info here! I'm really interested in the Mondial track, but since you mentioned "completely custom", what would that mean? Can I give them dimensions from another frame and have them make it? (sorry for the noob question)

I thought at one time that Retrogression was a US distributor for them. Is that not the case?

Completely custom would mean you give them your measurements and work with them to make a frame that is perfectly suited to your body and your ride style. You could give them the geo of another frame as well. For under a grand it would be basic steel and tig welded frame. No filet brazing or fancier work like a triple triangle or something like that.

We can get Colossi frames but no more quickly or cheaper than you can if you ordered one directly from them. Now that the cross-country move is behind us we may start stocking some frames in limited quantities.

Yup, or you can just order one right from Colossi as I've been saying all along.
